My friend Marissa made jam 2 summers ago. When she came to visit she brought a jar for my family. It was, in my opinion, the BEST jam I had received from anyone EVER!!! I practically begged her to please let me know when she would be making it again. This past July Marissa's tree was FULL of plums and she called to say it was time to make jam. The fact that she was about 7 and a half months pregnant did not deter her one bit. She was excited to show me how to make this "Golden Plum and Vanilla Bean" deliciousness. My plan is to make small loaves of bread to accompany this jam as I share it with friends this Love Month.
