Last Saturday I was up early making waffle batter and assembling my gear to take over to a friends house. This young mother has 4 adorable children and I asked if I could surprise them and come early and make them breakfast. It was very simple -- waffles, fresh oranges, strawberry quick for the milk and homemade syrup. I also brought a basket with a small gift for each of them. I don't know who enjoyed it more, me or the kids. Sharing a love themed breakfast with friends and/or family is one of the joys of this month.
