Woe is me! See this photo of Oprah. Notice the cut of her dress. This is all I am looking for. Something that cuts under the bust, shows off the waist and then -- GOES OUT so that the hips can be happy. I have been shopping and 90% of the dresses that exist are made for women who do NOT have hips. The last time I took a good look at the women where I live they were not all straight sticks. I have shopped in Eugene and I have shopped in Corvallis and tomorrow I am headed to Portland. Straight to Nordstroms and if I can't find it there I'm heading to Paradise Bakery at Bridgeport to get me some of those cute little tiny chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips in them. I will need to be consoled.
