Ready, Set, Go!

Every year I begin earlier and earlier to plan my "Love Month."  I follow several blogs and was SO surprised to see that one of them, even before Jan 1st, began to post ideas for things to make for Valentines!  It was at that moment that I knew I had to get you all jumpstarted.  The L-O-N-G month of January gives you ample time to ponder what you want to do for your Love Month.  We're all in different places in our lives.  Some of you will want to do lots of special things for children and grandchildren.  Some of you will want to spend the month being so very, very romantic.  Some of you will feel that ache of affection for all of your dear friends and want to do something to let them know how much they mean to you.  Love Month, because it's a whole month allows you to include just about everyone you can think of in some way or another.  Now remember -- this is the key -- you want to have fun at YOUR pace.  Don't exhaust yourself.  This is an individual thing and is NOT meant to be overwhelming.  I happened to go into the local drug store/gift shop today and it was full of decorations for Valentine's.  Now, and I mean this week especially, is a good week to start looking around for fun gifts. Visit your favorite places from Trader Joes, to the Dollar Store, to the Container Store etc. to find just what you want.  Also if you're in to making or baking it's a great time to shop fabric sales and to peruse new cookbooks for some homemade treats!  So -- Get Ready and Get Set!

I'm including the link to the blog on homemade gifts frpm Mud Pie Studio.
