Now that the holidays have passed and the kids have flown home it was time to do some shopping. I went to Target to stock up on the essentials that had whittled down in the past few months and BAM! -- it was evident that Valentine's is coming up! Besides a large display of cards there was also an isle of paper goods that really woke me up to the fact that Love Month preparation is NOW! (this means I have got to get the tree down, the ornaments put away and all things Christmas packed up!) It also means that I am banging my drum to remind you that it's TIME to ORGANIZE your February! (Well, if you want to --) For me this means planning some fun dates now and getting them on my calendar. It means if I want a jump on small gifts I better get myself to TJ Maxx this week and scope things out. If I decide to sew some cute things I better check out the new Valentine's fabrics at my local quilt shops. It means I need to go to my Pinterest board for "LOVE MONTH" and remind myself of what I've been pinning the past 11 months! It means I need to call Addie & Linda to plan our annual date.
