One of the great things about being a part of a book group is that everyone contributes to our line up of books for the year. I probably would never have read "Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander M.D. had it not been the February read for our group. The author is a neurosurgeon who lives in Virginia. In 2008 he contracts bacterial meningitis that puts him into a coma. What happens to him while in this coma provides the proof, he has never before had, that there is a heaven and there is a God. This book testifies love is eternal. Put this on your list of books to read this month and if not this month -- this year.
